Simon Dolce is a web developer based in the US and the person who started PornPlanner, a project built to help people plan smarter, safer and more satisfying adult entertainment. He designed the Planner Protocol described on this page, and he looks at the sites on our list the same way he looks at his own code: does it load fast, does it work, and can you trust it.

Simon decides which sites make the list, which ones get dropped and where each one sits. AI can help with research and wording, but it never makes that call, and nothing is published until he has checked it.

His rule fits in four words: code first, hype never. A site earns its spot by working well, not by promising a lot.

Before a site lands on PornPlanner, it goes through the same six checkpoints, in the same order. Simon Dolce put the list together to keep personal taste out of the picture and give every site the same fair test.

What AI Helps With

• Images: Some blog illustrations, category icons and our detective mascot are made with AI image tools.
• Research and first drafts: AI helps us sort notes, sum up long pages and give a rough shape to an article before we rewrite it.
• Polishing: AI helps with clearer wording and a tidy layout across the blog.

What AI Never Decides

• Who makes the list: Every site is picked, placed and ranked by a person who has opened it and used it.
• Who gets dropped: Removing a site from the list is always a human decision.
• Our opinion: The tone, the honest takes and the "skip this one" warnings come from people, not software.
• Business deals: AI plays no part in deciding who we work with.

AI tools change quickly, so we come back to this section whenever the way we use them changes.

You deserve to know how the lights stay on, so here it is in one line:

Run a site and think we got a fact wrong? Tell us. Wrong facts get checked and fixed. A different opinion on how good your site is will be heard, but it will not change what we write by itself.

A plan is only useful if it is up to date. Porn sites change owners, add paywalls, pile on ads or simply vanish, and a great pick can turn bad without warning. That is why the list keeps moving:

• Ongoing checks: When a site changes hands, goes offline or suddenly fills up with ads, we take another look.
• Regular re-tests: Sites already on the list are run through the Planner Protocol again from time to time, and the busiest categories get checked most often.
