A trial page shows a small price up front and the real one in smaller print. Here is what six trial pages say, who bills you, and five steps to take before you enter a card.

What does a porn free trial page really show?

A porn "free trial" page shows a small first charge and a longer promise, and the line that matters is the one that says what you pay when the trial ends. On the six trial pages I read, none was free: each charged a small amount to start, from €1.00 to €2.95, or $1.95 at Naughty America.

Quick Definition

A trial here is a short, low-price membership that turns into a full monthly one by itself unless you cancel. Epoch, one of the billing companies, says most trial memberships convert to monthly memberships if they aren't canceled within the trial period.

Prices follow your country. Opened from Spain, the Naughty America page showed dollars and the other five showed euros, so read your own page before you type anything.

The Six Parts to Find on Any Trial Page
  1. The trial price and its length, usually a day or three.
  2. The "then" price, often in a smaller line under the plan.
  3. The limits of the trial, such as limited access or no downloads.
  4. Every box and switch near the button.
  5. The small print that gives the cancel deadline.
  6. The billing company named in the footer.

Pornhub Premium's page works differently: it offers a free 7-day week with no charge during it, though it still asks for a payment method, as its cost and cancel rules explain.

Section 02

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial becomes a full monthly plan on its own, at a price between 10 and 40 times the trial's on the five pages that state it. This table puts the trial next to what each page says comes after.

SiteTrialThen billed
Naughty America$1.95, 3 days, limited accessMonthly pricing, per its terms
Evil Angel€2.95, 3 days€39.95 every 30 days
Wicked€2.95, 3 days€29.95 every 30 days
Adult Time€2.95, 3 days€29.95 a month
PornPros€1.00, 1 day, limited access€39.94 a month
Sean Cody€1.00, 2 days€22.99 every 30 days

What does one forgotten trial cost?

Forget it once and the first month costs the trial plus the rebill: €40.94 at PornPros, €42.90 at Evil Angel, €32.90 at Wicked and Adult Time, and €23.99 at Sean Cody. PornPros says its trials have limited access and upgrade automatically, which is the same rebill described as an upgrade.

Why does a rebill feel so sudden?

Because the notice rule eats most of the trial. Evil Angel, Wicked and Adult Time say to cancel 48 hours before a renewal, and Naughty America says at least 3 days before, so a 3-day trial leaves one day at most.

Are there pre-checked boxes and cross-sales?

On the trial and join pages I read, no box was pre-checked. I stopped before any payment form, so read that form yourself before you press the button.

Extras still show up in other shapes. This table lists the ones the pages and terms describe.

WhereWhat the page showedWhat you do
Terms boxEvil Angel's page has one unticked box and says "NO pre-checked cross-sales", the site's own claimTick only the terms box
Bundle planNaughty America's 12-month Gold Pass covers 11 sites for $239.40Pick it on purpose, not by default
Add-on switchesA VR page showed two add-on switches, both offLeave them off
Extra sites laterEvil Angel's terms call added sites one-time chargesCheck the receipt for them

A site that is new to you deserves one extra look before the card comes out. The one-minute safety checks take less time than a trial.

Section 04

Who bills you, and how do you cancel?

A billing company, not the site, holds your card, and its name sits in the page footer. This table covers the ones these pages name, using what each company's own pages say.

BillerYour statement showsCancel through
EpochEpoch.com, not the site's name"Find My Purchase" with any two of four fields, or live chat, email or phone, 24/7
CCBillA charge that refers to www.ccbill.comIts search form with two identifiers, such as email or card number, or 24/7 support
SegpayNot checked: Segpay's own site did not open for meThe site footers point to segpay.com for billing questions and canceling
Aylo's billersNames such as Probiller, AyloBill, Vendo, Segpay or WTSThe Cancel section of the site's support page, or the link in your receipt

The site adds its own rules on top. Evil Angel, Wicked and Adult Time take cancellations through a support form and ask for 48 hours' notice, Naughty America takes a support ticket at least 3 days before, and PornPros's terms mention 48 hours too. Epoch says it emails a confirmation when you cancel, so keep that email.

The statement is only half of privacy. What your own device keeps is covered in what incognito mode does and does not hide.

Section 05

What are the 5 steps before you enter the card?

Do these 5 steps in order, starting before you press the trial button, so you know what the trial can cost before it starts.

Before the Card
  1. Read the "then" line before you read the plan name.
  2. Note the biller and its statement name from the footer.
  3. Look at every box and switch and leave the extras off.
  4. Set the reminder in your calendar before you pay.
  5. Cancel on day one if you only wanted to look, and keep the confirmation email.

The reminder is the step people skip, so here is where it goes.

WhenDo thisWhy it helps
Before you payWrite down the "then" price and the notice ruleYou know the cost of forgetting
Right after joiningSave the receipt and check that the reminder is set for that eveningThe notice rule can be 48 hours
Day oneCancel if you don't want the monthly planA 3-day trial leaves one day at most
After cancelingLook for the confirmation emailIt shows the final date and amount

Section 06

Do VR sites offer trials?

On the five VR join pages I read, none showed a trial: you pay a full plan from the first day. The table shows four of them; POVR's page had the same three cards as WankzVR.

VR sitePlans on the pageTrial
WankzVRYearly $0.27 a day, Monthly $0.50 a day, Lifetime $299.95None shown
VirtualRealPorn2X1 monthly €17.99, yearly €7.49 a month, lifetime €249None shown
SexLikeRealMonthly $26.99, annual $107.88, lifetime $299.99None shown
TMWVRnet1 month $29.95, 3 months $59.95, 12 months $119.95, lifetime $299.95None shown

So the first charge on a VR page is the real price, and it is the one to read twice. SexLikeReal's billing page says plans renew until canceled, recommends canceling at least 48 hours before renewal and says it can't refund rebills caused by not canceling. Its statement shows "DTM" or similar, and VirtualRealPorn says its charges appear as "EPOCH" or "CGBILLING".

To compare monthly, yearly and lifetime plans before you pick one, what each plan costs over 12 months does the math.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a porn free trial really free?

Not on the pages I read. Each one charged €1.00 to €2.95, or $1.95, and then rebilled unless you canceled. Pornhub Premium's 7-day week was the one with no charge during it.

Will a trial renew by itself?

Yes. Evil Angel's terms say billing begins at the end of the trial and renews monthly unless you cancel first, and Epoch says most trials convert to monthly memberships.

Can I cancel the trial the same day?

Yes. Evil Angel's terms let you cancel at any time, and say you owe the fees incurred until 48 hours after your notice is received, which is one more reason to cancel on day one.

Will the site's name show on my statement?

It depends on the biller. Epoch says its own name appears instead of the site's, CCBill says charges refer to www.ccbill.com, and Aylo's terms list several biller names.

Can I get my money back after a rebill?

It depends on the site's terms. Evil Angel, Wicked and Adult Time call fees non-refundable once the login is used, and Aylo's terms review card refund requests case by case within 120 days.

Key Takeaways

A trial is cheap to start and expensive to forget, so the work happens before you pay.

Remember
  1. A trial is a small charge that rebills: on the six pages I read it was €1.00 to €2.95, or $1.95, and then a full month.
  2. Read the "then" price first, and the notice rule second: 48 hours or 3 days of notice can eat most of a 3-day trial.
  3. The billing company is often where you cancel, so note its name and keep the confirmation email.
  4. VR pages showed no trial, so the first charge there is the full price.
